Love Mi, the concert: singers lineup, where to see it, schedule

It is not the Live Aid, but almost. The comparison with the historic maxi concert of ’85 is certainly exaggerated. At the time the organizer was the legendary Bob Geldof, today is Fedez. At the time, between Philadelphia and London, the history of music alternated, from Sting to David Bowie, Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan and Queen with Freddie Mercury. Today there are for example Ghali, Miss Keta, Mara Sattei, Tananaigood, very good, but with all due respect, very different from the artists of the time.

Yet, despite the unbridgeable differences (at the time there were over 160 thousand spectators, today about twenty thousand are expected, then the concerts went worldwide), Love Mi, without saying it, tries to be inspired by the 85 event. The protagonist is the music, but the goal is always beneficial. Then funds were raised for the Ethiopian famine. Today the intent is to raise funds for Tog – Together To Gonon-profit organization of excellence in the rehabilitation of children suffering from complex neurological diseasessuch as infantile cerebral palsy and genetic syndromes with mental retardation. The funds, in particular, will be used to build the new Tog Carlo De Benedetti Center in Milanwhich doubles the number of clients, offering care to two hundred children a year. The lineup of singers

They begin Caneda, Mydrama, Frada, Dear, Paulo, Beba (these performances are broadcast on Mediaset Infinity). There are 23 singers performing at Love Mi (but the performances are twenty-two as Fedez and J-Ax will sing together). Apart from the big boys (Fedez and J-Ax in fact), the others are in their twenties (Dargen D’Amico is 42, Rose Villain, 32, but they don’t show them). Everyone comes from the world of rap, pop, hip-hop. Fedez and J-Ax: from success to breakup

Similar by extraction (both sons of the Milanese suburbs, J-Ax grew up between San Giuliano and Cologno, Fedez in Buccinasco), both braggart but with a tender heart, provocative, with the urge to change the system, basically anxious rather than angry, they became friends. Of the real ones with whom a non-blood family is created. For a decade until 2018 they seemed invincible. Until their last record concert at San Siro: on 1 June 2018 they gathered almost eighty thousand people. That success, however, also marked their breakup.

Shortly after, in fact, they severed all relations, dividing themselves from Newtopia, the label they had founded together and which was then collected only by Fedez, who transformed it into the current Doom Entertainment.

The reasons for the separation of the two rappers

For a long time neither of them wanted to explain the reasons for the breakup. Many thought that the cause was linked to the new more “glam” and less rap life that Fedez was creating with Chiara Ferragni, fashion blogger who invented the influencer profession, even studied at Harvard. In fact, in 2018 Fedez first became Leone’s father (it was March, then Ferragni and Fedez had another daughter, Vittoria, born in March 2021), then in September 2018, the wedding with the influencer.

At the end of 2019, in an interview with The Confession by Peter Gomez, Fedez, however, made it clear that he felt betrayed for economic issues related to the music label.

J-Ax recently tried to explain something, remaining laconic: «I hate conflict, I pretend that everything is fine and then cut it off. With Fedez I had above all an artistic affinity, is someone who wants to break the system (oh my, like all those who are successful then he became organic to the system, but that’s okay …). Having employees took away my peace of mind. I was afraid for them, in the world of show business everything can end in an instant. I want serenity, I am a paranoid who suffers from anxiety“.

It is known that the two they met the day Fedez found out he had pancreatic cancer (he was operated on last March, the operation went well, no chemo). Before, they had spoken on the phone. J-Ax he had Covid during the pandemic and said he saw death up close. «I was terrified, I had an illness I had never felt before, I started praying again».
