Linda de Mol and Jeroen Rietbergen would be one of Wilfred Genee’s new love show instant hit have made. Will they be pushed for a second season of the program?
Wilfred Genee has finally managed to get a TV outing at Talpa: in addition to Today Inside, he has recorded a new program in which he interviews a different well-known love couple every episode. It all happens in the setting of tropical Curaçao, at the expense of sponsor Corendon. Will it be a hit? Mwoah.

Opinions about the hit potential of Wilfred’s new ‘Mi Dushi: What is love?’ are divided, because the participating celebrity couples are a bit disappointing. Who on earth in the Netherlands is interested in Charly Lüske and Tanja Jess? They are well-known, but of course no one knows what the two are doing nowadays.
Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden is a bit pessimistic. “I am very curious whether it will score, because I expected slightly bigger stars in that program. Actually hoped for it,” he says in Strictly Private.

Jordi thinks that one star couple from the program is a instant hit can make. “Linda de Mol and Jeroen, that’s what I would like to see. Anyway, I think they want to wait a season first, to see how it turns out in the end.”
Private star journalist Jan Uriot has another suggestion. “You should start that series, I think, with your own wife. There is of course a lot of whining around it, like: is there noise between those two? Have they broken up? Then start with that, by putting your own wife in the picture. And then it will become a relevant program.”

However, Wilfred does not want to talk about his own love life. Strange, Jan thinks. “Then I think: it’s not relevant? You make a series about the love lives of couples and then he doesn’t want to say anything! That really strikes me. Then I think: I do find that relevant.”
Jordi concludes: “Yes, I think so too. It is very difficult to interview Wilfred Genee. He then says: ‘It’s not about me’, but then I think: is the program you are going to make about those couples one-way traffic? What is the right thing to do, right, you would say?”
