Lil Kleine must appear in court again on Monday | showbiz

showbizThe chamber of the court of Amsterdam will again consider the case surrounding Lil Kleine (27) next Monday. A spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Service Amsterdam informed the Dutch website Shownieuws about this.

During a closed session, the council chamber will consider whether Lil Kleine should remain under lock and key any longer. Last Monday, the Dutch court ruled on appeal that the rapper had to go back to jail. Normally, Jorik Scholten, the real name of the Dutchman, had to stay there for fourteen days.

Violent Incident

Lil Kleine was arrested in mid-February on suspicion of aggravated assault. The rapper is said to have clamped the head of his girlfriend Jaimie Vaes between a car door. She did not file a report, but the incident was captured by a security camera near their home. The images immediately went viral on social media, where people reacted with dismay at the way Lil Kleine treated the mother of his son Lío (2). Several friends of Vaes then made it seem that it is not the first time that one of their quarrels gets out of hand, but it is the first time that there are images of it. Last year there was also commotion around the couple, after rumors of a violent incident between the two in Spain, but there was no proof.

After his arrest, the rapper spent three nights in jail on suspicion of assault, but his pre-trial detention was suspended pending further investigation. The Public Prosecution Service disagreed and appealed the decision. “We believe there are sufficient serious objections to extend his detention for attempted aggravated assault.”

A few days ago, Jamie Vaes himself, who also has a son with Lil Kleine, reacted to the incident for the first time. In a written response to the newspaper ‘De Telegraaf’, the stylist said that she is “an enormous heartbreak”. She also states that in the case there are “no winners, only losers”.
