On June 24th, various megastars could gather at London’s Wembley Stadium for a benefit concert for Ukraine. There will also be worldwide television broadcasts. Loud “The Sun” the organizers have already asked U2, The Rolling Stones, The Killers and Pink. Other artists could include Sir Paul McCartney, Adele, Florence + the Machine and Noel Gallagher.
However, the benefit concert overlaps with the Glastonbury Festival, which will take place from 21st to 25th June. Thus, some superstars may already have other commitments. Either way, the concert should be a special event and, like “Live Aid” in 1985, draw attention and donations for the victims of the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine.
