Lauri from Markka did not appear in the Utah Jazz’s lineup when the team faced the Portland Trail Blazers away from home.
Utah announced just before the start of the match on the X message service that the Finn is suffering from a lower back injury. Markkanes already missed three games at the beginning of November due to a back injury.
However, the absence of the number one star did not prevent Utah from winning. The team surprisingly crushed Portland by as much as 141–99.
The hardest points of the match were Johnny Juzang (22 points) and John Collins (20).
With the win, Utah ended its five-game losing streak. The team has now won two games out of the last 11 and is in 14/16 place in the Western Conference.
Portland, which is suffering from a three-game losing streak, is a notch higher.
