The Academy of Fine Arts in L’Aquila, a city in central Italy, has abandoned its plans to award an honorary doctorate to the Antwerp artist Jan Fabre. Jan Fabre was supposed to receive this next week, but there were protests against the presentation because of his conviction in our country for sexual assault and sexually undesirable behavior in the workplace.
