Jaleen Smith leaves Alba Berlin. The 28-year-old moves from the Bundesliga basketball team to Virtus Bologna in Italy. Both clubs announced this on Thursday.
Smith exercised an exit option on his three-year contract.
The American moved from the MHP giants Ludwigsburg to the German capital two years ago and won the German championship and the cup in the second season with Alba.
“He has done a good job of learning different playing styles and positions, making him a very versatile player for any team,” Alba’s sporting director Himar Ojeda said in the statement.
