The video started with a photo of the actor in the iconic blue-and-red suit. “I wanted to wait until after the weekend to post this because I wanted to give you all a chance to see ‘Black Adam’,” Cavill said. “But now that many of you have done that, I wanted to make it official: I’m back as Superman.”
The actor thanked his fans for their support and said their patience would be rewarded. “This is just a very small taste of what’s to come, my friends,” it said. Cavill last played the role of Clark Kent in 2016, in the film ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’. He first appeared as Superman in 2013 in the movie ‘Man of Steel’.
