Tim den Besten lashes out at Jamie Trenité, the new ‘acquisition’ of SBS 6. He denounces the embarrassing interview in which the TV talent high seems of his own self-satisfaction.
Jamie Trenité has been hoping for years to break through in Hilversum, but he has not gotten much further than a few reports in RTL Boulevard. He was there briefly as a reporter and after a few of those appearances he gave an extremely arrogant and smug interview to Amayzine. It’s impossible to watch this without crooked toes.
‘This is even worse’
Now that Jamie is in the news because he is going to work for SBS 6 – according to colleague Britt Dekker, he is going to present a huge cast-off – Tim den Besten has looked back at that three-year-old interview.
Tim’s conclusion is that it really is not to be seen. The VPRO star makes a series of Instagramstories the ground with this TV talent. He states that the bleating Jamie is even more uncomfortable than the Op1 fragment in which Wendy van Dijk’s son sings a song with his other celebrity parent Xander de Buisonjé. “This is even worse!”
‘Very fat’
Tim gives his followers a ‘cringe trigger warning’ at the images of the self-satisfied Jamie. “I yelled at my screen a few times.”
One of Jamie’s statements that he quotes reads as follows: “I just think it’s really cool that I’m doing something now, just as seriously as I played tennis back then. If you have something where you just as much drive in, that is f*cking nice man. Doesn’t matter what it is.”
The giggle next to him, one Kiki Duren, then: “I love your energy man!”

Tim says he is most proud of his TV work when he has made a good item about a subject he does not know much about feeling has with. “If it has succeeded and it really nice has become and when people say: ‘You got a lot out of that’, then that is actually a bigger victory.”
He uses football as a metaphor: “What if you get a shitty cross and you score a goal, isn’t that much better?”
That Kiki is all the way impressed: “Absolutely, dude! What beautiful stories you have. I am really listening.”
Tim stunned: “What issssss this. Girl needs a hearing aid.”
How many women?
Moments later, Jamie talks about how many women he’s slept with. “At a certain point, out of modesty, and also because I’m not doing it for anyone but myself and not stroking my ego, I just stopped counting, so I don’t know how many women I’ve had sex with.”
Tim finds it embarrassing ‘what Jamie van de Trinité shits out of his mouth’: “Gooooozer.”
