Guns N’ Roses will perform at Wacken for the first time next year. There are also two more concerts in Germany.
On Monday (December 9th) Wacken announced the biggest headliner in its eventful festival history: Guns N’ Roses will be there in 2025!
The band around singer Axl Rose and guitarist Slash, which has been reunited since 2016, has not yet paid a visit to the metal event. But next year it will happen for the first time.
Wacken co-founder and organizer Holger Hübner is proud: “The fact that Guns N’Roses are playing in Wacken is a dream. Almost 40 years ago, Thomas and I heard the band for the first time in our friend Gösy’s basement, stood at the front of the stage as fans in Hanover and Bremen in the early 90s and now we can announce them at our own festival. Nothing more is possible.”
Thomas Jensen, also Wacken co-founder and organizer, adds: “We are proud to be able to set an absolute highlight with Guns N’Roses. For us, it’s an opportunity that only comes once in a lifetime. Simply sensational.”
Since the Wacken Festival (from July 30th to August 2nd, 2025) has been completely sold out for months, there are no longer any tickets for the event and therefore for the Guns N’ Roses gig. The group is also giving two more concerts in Germany, as was also announced on Monday.
