The coach and former soccer player from Valladolid suffered a fall that caused a head injury for which he spent more than three weeks in an induced coma . “I didn’t know what to do in this life if I couldn’t have a conversation with other people. I was alone, in my world, without being able to talk to anyone,” he explains. eusebio about the hardest moment he has ever experienced.

“I realized that I had had a successful life. I had achieved everything I wanted. I thought about the reason for the accident and found the reason. The cause of the whole process was to tell people everything that I had past in life. I had never told anyone what I wanted to achieve, what I finally achieved. Now I can say that my life has been a success.”

Keep fighting

Now, his goal is “to continue fighting to have a normal life and a normal conversation.” The coach continues to do optometrist, therapeutic and speech therapy treatments. But the passion that has guided his life remains intact:

“Since I was little, I only had one thing on my mind: I wanted to be a footballer. It has been the most important thing in my life. When I didn’t have the ability to talk to anyone and I was far from the green, I have continued to do what I like the most: watch football “.
