comeback in summer
The Düsseldorf district league club CfR Linksrheinisch has announced the commitment of former DFB player Sidney Sam. The 35-year-old is currently working as part of his training in the coaching team at MSV Duisburg and ended his active professional career in the summer of 2021 after his last engagement with the Turkish first division club Antalyaspor.
From next summer, the former Bundesliga professional with Hamburger SV, Bayer Leverkusen, Darmstadt 98 and Schalke 04 will play in the district league A. “We are proud to present our first new signing for the new season,” wrote the club on his Instagram page.
