June 9th – 2.15pm – MILAN

Francesco Totti and Tomas Locatelli are the winning couple of the Istanbul Open, fourth stage of the EA7 World Legends Padel Tour 2026. Their success came against two World Champions, Fernando Llorente and Vincent Candela: 9-7 the final result, in the splendid setting of Rixos Tersane. With the triumph in Turkey, Totti and Locatelli qualified for the Finals scheduled for next November in Dubai, an event for which Vincent Candela and Ivan Rakitic (winners in Milan), Luca Toni and Luca Ceccarelli (winners in New York), Darrent Bent and Dwight Gayle (winners in London) had already purchased tickets. For the first time, the Belgian Dries Mertens also participated in a stage, welcomed with all the honors required by the Turkish fans present.

statements

Totti said he was satisfied with the result: “I had fun and I even won, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and, thinking about the final result, I have to say thanks to my partner Locatelli. Playing alongside him is not only nice, but it’s also a certainty, since he had already triumphed on these fields last year.”
