Domain Tiegembos gets a thorough facelift
Some of the old buildings will be demolished and replaced. The new complex will combine various functions, but the brasserie with a spacious terrace and a view of the playing field will become the beating heart of the park. There will also be a multifunctional room for a maximum of 100 people. In addition, a B&B with 8 rooms will be set up in the second phase. The current youth center will be preserved and refreshed and a classroom is available for the schools in the neighbourhood. (read more below the photo)
In the public space around the building, the owners provide charging stations for electric cars and bicycles, a mudroom to clean bicycles, picnic areas and sanitary facilities that can also be used by non-brasserie guests. The rest of the park will remain under the management of the municipality of Anzegem.
Pieter-Jan and Sofie foresee the reopening of the renovated infrastructure in the spring of 2024. The current pop-up formula will be retained as long as possible as a resting point for park visitors.
