Chinese President Xi Jinping on Sunday praised Hong Kong’s transition from “chaos to governance” and condemned interference in Taiwan. “The situation in Hong Kong has reached a major transition from chaos to governance,” Xi told Communist Party deputies at the opening of the party congress, which is held once every five years.
