Cher: She is said to have had her son kidnapped out of concern

Cher was concerned about her son’s health and wanted to intervene in this way.

Cher is said to have hired four men to kidnap her son Elijah Blue Allman in November 2022. At least that’s what the singer’s daughter-in-law Marieangela King claims.

According to recent court documents obtained by the British newspaper Daily Mail, Allman was in a hotel room with his wife at the time of the kidnapping. The couple wanted to celebrate their tenth wedding anniversary and work on their marriage together when the kidnappers stormed in. The court documents include Marieangela King’s statement accusing Cher. “On November 30, 2022, the night of our wedding anniversary, four people came to our hotel room and removed (Elijah) from our room. “One of the four men who took him told me that they were hired by his mother,” the musician’s statement said.

Four days after the event, Marieangela King officially asked for a response from the “Believe” singer as she was apparently worried about her husband and unaware of his whereabouts. The pop star’s representatives probably never responded to the request.

On that day, Cher was worried about the health of her son, who comes from her marriage to the late rock star Gregg Allman. Elijah Blue Allman has struggled with drug addiction in the past. According to his own statements, he started using intoxicants when he was eleven. Since then the situation had visibly worsened.

The musician has been living in a hotel room at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles since March 2023. Footage obtained by the Daily Mail shows Allman sitting in the lobby with disheveled hair and no shoes. Hotel employees also noticed Cher’s son. “Practically every morning and afternoon you could see Elijah on the sidewalk in front of the hotel, either leaning against the wall or sitting on the sidewalk smoking,” says one of the employees. On September 16th, Elijah Blue Allman is said to have fainted in front of the hotel: “He came out with a cigarette and when he finished it, he was unconscious,” one of the employees continues. After his collapse, he was escorted out of the Chateau Marmont by police. Allman is currently believed to be in rehab in Pasadina, California.
