Meets Coach Storck
Central defender Christalino Atemona leaves Hertha BSC and joins Belgian first division club KV Kortrijk. As the club from the Jupiler Pro League announced, the 20-year-old will be taken on permanently by the second team from Berlin. He signed a contract until the end of the season with an option for a further year. According to the “picture“ the working paper is extended in the event of relegation. Atemona had already taken part in training at the relegation-threatened club in recent weeks.
In Kortrijk, which is third from bottom in Belgium, the defender meets German coach Bernd Storck, who has been in charge there since November. Atemona has been trained at Hertha BSC since 2014. 16 games for the second representation are on record, there was no debut with the professionals. Before the change, his working paper with the “Old Lady”, which was originally valid until 2024, was reportedly dissolved, so the Berliners will not receive any transfer fee, but could receive bonuses if they are resold in the future.
Oh well, Christalino Atemona is a guy!
After a positive test period, the German central word was definitely taken over by Hertha Berlijn:https://t.co/lWo1gADAFy#WelcomeChristalino pic.twitter.com/tsaZCmpXLJ
