Russian troops in occupied Ukraine are reinforcing their lines, but some of them are far from the front. The fortifications are up to 60 kilometers behind the current front line. The Russians are apparently taking into account further major breakthroughs by the Ukrainian army, the British Defense Ministry’s secret service reports in its daily assessment of the course of the war.
