Anadolu Efes, which succeeded in bringing the THY Euroleague to its museum last season and this season, broke up. In a statement made by the club on its social media account, it was announced that the roads were parted with 33-year-old James Anderson.

Transferring to Anadolu Efes at the beginning of the 2018-2019 season, 33-year-old Anderson won 2 THY Europa League, 2 Basketball Super League and one Turkish Cup championships.
