Ninth victory out of 10 (fifth in a row) for league leaders Germany. Dinamo wins again, with their third success in the championship

December 6 – 11.37pm – MILAN

The Serie A basketball restarts after the national break and the usual Germani Brescia confirms itself at the top of the table, capable of achieving their ninth victory in ten days in Reggio Emilia, and their fifth in a row. For the 93-87 final, the experience of coach Cotelli’s team was decisive, with five players scoring double figures with Ivanovic as an Oscar-worthy director: he was the MVP with 20 points and 5 assists. Now two nights at the top of the table await Brescia, waiting for Virtus. Sassari wins again, surprising Trieste by leading the match to the final 85-80.

Reggio Emilia-Brescia 87-93

In a match with great, non-stop rifts on both sides, in the end experience is decisive. That of Miro Bilan to be precise, the man capable of resolving a complex final by scoring 4 consecutive points which are worth +8 to his team (78-86) less than two minutes from the end. At that point, to win a victory that Unahotels has been missing since October, not even the poster plays of the new signing JT Thor, who was the last to surrender in the point-to-point final, were enough. Brescia starts better, even 13-0 (with 6 points from Della Valle), but Reggio takes it back with a partial and triples from Thor and Woldetensae, valid for +7 (34-27) in the second period. When Ivanovic takes the lead and, when Bilan and Della Valle join him on the parquet, Germani returns to double figures (53-63) already halfway through the third quarter, making the most of the bonus (in the end 24/25 on free throws) which Reggio stumbles upon far too early. It seems like the end, however, it is only a passage of the infinite rounds of this challenge: Thor, Barford and Caupain hammer until the draw (71-71) and call the final into question, however surrendering in the face of Brescia’s greater clarity and ability to suffer, stumbling upon the seventh defeat in a row.

Reggio Emilia: JT Thor20, Caupain 14 and Barford 14

Brescia: Ivanovic 20, Bilan 18, Della Valle 15

Sassari-Trieste 85-80

Third victory in the championship for Dinamo Sassari, who upon their return to the parquet recovered from the defeat against Napoli and struck an important blow in their long fight for survival. Misstep for Trieste who chased practically for the entire match, also due to the solid defense of the Sardinians from the first minutes of the match which reached 30-17 in the first quarter with a 6-0 break signed by Marshall and Pullen, making their debut together with Visconti. However, when the visiting attack manages to sting, there is an infallible Nate Johnson from the arc: author of a 3/3 in 17 minutes for a new +13 (40-27). Toscano-Anderson took care of halving the deficit, also author of two centers from far away in a few seconds before the long interval, valid for 44-37, but in substance little changed because Sassari returned from the locker room stronger than ever and, riding Mcglynn in the third period, managed to always keep her head ahead and take two coveted points in the standings.

Sassari: Marshall 23, Johnson 17, Mcglynn and Buie 14

Trieste: Ramsey 22, Brown and Toscano-Anderson 15
