Giovanca Ostiana is heavily taken by Rob Goossens, the television connoisseur of RTL Boulevard. He finds it an embarrassment that she is on the long list for a television prize.
She has been there since the start of Op1: Giovanca Ostiana. The singer forms a duo with Tijs van den Brink in the talk show, but has been criticized quite a bit from the very first broadcast. It would not have enough content to present a program on politics and other current affairs.

More than two and a half years after the start of Op1, this criticism still applies, according to Rob Goossens, the television expert of RTL Boulevard. He’s lashing out at Giovanca pretty hard this week in his column for Veronica Superguide.

This year, the Zilveren Televizier-Ster is gender neutral for the first time. There is a serious chance that Raven van Dorst will go home with the prize.
