An Argentinian tourist was seriously injured on Thursday in the Brazilian metropolis of Rio de Janeiro after his car accidentally ended up in a slum and was shot at by criminals. He was hit in the head and chest and is in critical condition in a hospital. Witnesses told Brazilian media that the man was on his way with his family to the world-famous statue of Christ the Redeemer in the city.
