Matti Wagner will leave SpVgg Greuther Fürth permanently and, after a previous loan, will move to Alemannia Aachen. The third division team gave the 21-year-old left-wing player a contract until 2028 with the option for another season. Wagner, who was initially injured for a long time, developed into a reliable force in Aachen in the second half of the season, as evidenced by 18 appearances over 1,160 minutes.
“We are very pleased that we can now welcome Matti as a permanent part of our team. He has already shown in the last season what he is made of and that he will not let setbacks get him down. We are convinced that his development is far from complete and we look forward to continuing on this path together,” explained sports director Rachid Azzouzi.
