In an open letter to the Adidas board of directors, some former Adidas employees described what it was like working with Kanye West. Porn is said to have played an essential role in the rapper’s daily business and he is said to have created a “toxic and chaotic” environment. The text was published on Tuesday (November 22) via American “Rolling Stone” released.

The open letter, titled “The Truth About Yeezy: A Call for Adidas Leadership,” describes several situations in which Kanye West shared pornographic content from the web, nude images of his then-wife Kim Kardashian and is said to have shown specially produced sex tapes. In a meeting, Kanye West asked if a shoe could be designed that he could use to have sexual intercourse. The sneaker was “not meant to be a sex toy, but an object that you want to have an intimate relationship with.” you know, there will be all these porn references”. Another person continues: “It will surprise you the first time. I think he’s doing it to catch people off guard.”

In addition, Kanye West should not shy away from playing porn in meetings. “I know it’s awkward, but I need that in the background to focus,” he would say. In fact, the musician and entrepreneur showed just such a scenario in one of his YouTube posts. There he stands in front of two Adidas managers, holds a mobile phone in front of their faces and tries to explain business strategies using porn. He is also said to have given an employee the tip: “If you are no longer making creative progress, then watch a porn for 10 minutes.”

Overall, everyday work is said to consist of “many forms of abuse, the kind of abuse that combines many kinds of abuse.” Another describes it as “tactics [die] used [werden]to break a person and establish their unwavering loyalty to him by testing and destroying people’s boundaries.” In addition to the focus on porn, verbal abuse is said to have occurred more often. The letter also reads, “As much as we’d all like to place sole blame on Kanye, the undeniable truth is that the Adidas leadership team and board have made this possible in large measure.”

A spokesperson for Adidas responded to a request from Rolling Stone: “Adidas does not condone hate speech or offensive behavior and as such has terminated its partnership with adidas Yeezy. We have been and continue to be active in discussions with our employees about the events that led to our decision to end the partnership. They have our full support and as we work out the details of the termination, we have made it clear that we want to retain the talent and skills of our people with the company.”

West, who had to end many partnerships with companies due to his anti-Semitic comments, has not yet commented on the allegations. In addition to Adidas, Balenciaga and GAP also distanced themselves from him.

Kanye West is currently preparing for his election campaign for the upcoming US election, as he wants to fill the presidency from 2024. For $20 each, he sells clothes from his ending collaborations that have “Ye 24” on them.
