Emergency services responded on a large scale this afternoon to a missing man in the Westeinderplassen in Aalsmeer. Some of the water has been temporarily turned off.
“The man was swimming in the water this afternoon, but at some point he was no longer seen,” a police spokesperson said. A search operation was started at the end of the afternoon. An ambulance, fire brigade, police and helicopter were deployed for this.
