In terms of sport, things are going according to plan for Fernando Alonso in the 2023 Formula 1 season. Away from the track, however, the Spaniard has to adapt to some changes, because as he announced at the weekend, the “Samurai” is single again after a year in a happy relationship.
Fernando Alonso announced the separation from TV presenter Andrea Schlager via Instagram at the weekend. Both have been a couple for about a year and are now going their separate ways. Bad blood does not flow between the former love couple.
“We want to tell you that our relationship as a couple is over,” wrote Alonso and Schlager in a joint statement that they shared on social media. “We were lucky that we were able to spend a fantastic time together,” it continues.
This will continue to be the case, “but in a different form,” they referred to their professional ties. While Alonso will drive in Formula 1 at least until the end of the 2024 season, the Austrian is active as a presenter for “ServusTV” in the premier class.

It is not known exactly when the Spaniard and the Austrian split up. In March of this year, however, Schlager appeared on a “ServusTV” show and revealed some secrets from their private life together. The public will no longer find out this detail for the time being.
