The best German goalscorers in amateur football are officially recognized for the first time.
The “scorer cannon for everyone” honors the best goal-getters from the 4th to the 11th league for men and the most accurate strikers up to the 7th league for women.
The footballers will be honored on September 23 as part of the Nations League game between the German national team and Hungary in Leipzig.
“Congratulations to the winners on their outstanding season. Unfortunately, the extraordinary achievements that are made in amateur football every weekend rarely get the attention they deserve,” said Ronny Zimmermann, 1st DFB Vice President Amateurs. The “goal scorer cannon for everyone” is therefore a “special appreciation for football at the base”.
The trophy for the best amateur goalscorers of the 2021/22 season is awarded by the football magazine kicker and the DFB amateur portal fussball.de in cooperation with Volkswagen. Goals from league games are included in the rating, goals from relegation games are not taken into account.
With 93 goals in 33 games, Maria Asnaimer from the seventh division club TuS Germania Lohauserholz-Daberg scored the most of all active seniors nationwide. The men’s top scorer was Aleksandar Stoilov from tenth division club MK Makedonija Stuttgart with 84 goals in 22 games.
