The last group game of the World Cup qualification awaits the DFB women. Follow the duel against Slovenia in the live ticker.

Four days after the decisive victory against Norway, the German women’s national team wants to successfully complete the World Cup qualification in Slovenia. National coach Christian Wück’s selection secured their ticket to the 2027 World Cup in Brazil thanks to the 2-0 win in Cologne before the game on Tuesday in Ljubljana.

Before the game – Wück had announced a rotation in advance. Four Wolfsburg women could slide into the defense: Janina Minge, Camilla Küver, Sophia Kleinherne and Sarai Linder. Minge was missing the red card against Norway. Now she is supposed to replace Giulia Gwinn, who had shoulder surgery, as captain.

Before the game – After the duel with Norway, Wück primarily called for solutions on the offensive. “No matter which team is on the pitch, it will be a test – because we simply have to continue to develop with a view to our future,” said the 52-year-old before the game. In the first leg in Dresden, the DFB women easily won 5-0 against Slovenia, who are in last place in the table.
