A group of drunken men caused trouble on a Eurostar train to London last Friday. A female passenger reported an assault. The Dutch were met by agents upon arrival in England.

According to a witness, the large group was annoying, loud and obviously drunk.

On the Eurostar train, which left Amsterdam on Friday afternoon, they used the toilets to smoke. Staff would have confronted the men about their behavior, but there were many of them and they were very drunk, according to the witness.

A spokeswoman for the train company indicates that a woman has been harassed by the Dutch. “She has filed an official complaint. The group was under the influence.” Eurostar will not say exactly what was done to her. It is also not clear whether it is a Dutch woman. The train to London also stops in Brussels and Lille.

Upon arrival at St. Pancras station, the Dutch were met and put in handcuffs by officers. The British police reported to this site that they had received a report around 5 p.m. (local time) of a woman on the Eurostar who had been assaulted.

According to police in London, two men have been arrested and taken into custody. One of them is suspected of sexual assault. The other for obstructing justice. It is unknown whether they had to spend the night in jail.
