Madonna, who has long been linked to Dolce&Gabbana, collaborated with the designers for the launch of hers Confessions II – The Filmthe short film that introduces his next album Confessions II. The film, directed by David Toro and Solomon Chase (TORSO), premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in New York on June 5 at the Beacon Theatre.
Produced by DIVISION e Powered by Dolce&Gabbana, Confessions II – The Film it is a visual work of beyond 10 minutes, built around the first six tracks of the album and conceived as a single immersive experience in which music and moving images merge.

Confessions II – The Film
As part of this collaboration – rooted in a long-standing relationship between the artist and the brand that dates back to the early 1990s, and shaped over time by a shared spirit of reinvention and bold creative expression – Dolce&Gabbana also designed the costumes for Madonna and the cast. Drawing on both archival and more recent collections, the looks create a coherent visual narrative, combining the artist’s imagery with the brand’s aesthetic codes.
The result is a series of silhouettes that reflect a clear language of self-expressioncreativity and identity. Moving between references and timelines, the selection links Madonna’s visual iconography to Dolce&Gabbana’s distinctive DNA, becoming an integral part of the film’s aesthetic.
Madonna’s three looks in Confessions II – The Film

Madonna wears a rhinestone-embellished top from the 1991/1992 Autumn/Winter archive collection and high-waisted shaping briefs in jacquard and satin.
The first is a fitted dress in stretch satin coupled with PVCwith an exposed black bra. Inspired by a silhouette from the Dolce&Gabbana Spring/Summer 1998 collectionthe look evokes the imagery of Ray of Light, taking up the dress worn by the artist on the album cover.
