ANDentering at Palazzo Citterio, Milan almost seems to slow down. It is because of the discreet charm of this historic eighteenth-century residence, born as a noble residence and long hidden from the eyes of the city, and today home to the precious Brera Art Gallery. And it is from this place suspended between past and present that an extraordinary day signed by iO Donna will begin on May 7th: Palazzo Citterio and Orticola exclusively for us on the same day.
First at Palazzo Citterio
Guiding the visit among the masterpieces will be with us director and actor Massimiliano Finazzer Flory together with an art historian guide, accompanied by the director of iO Donna, Danda Santini. Once the visit is over, we will walk through the streets of Brera for a relaxed break.
Then to Orticola
After lunch, the journey will continue among the flowers and scents of the market exhibition Orticola di Lombardia, at the Montanelli Gardens, starting that very day but not yet open to the public, and of which iO Donna is a media partner.
Our editor-in-chief Justine Bellavita, an expert in gardening and botany, will accompany you among vegetable gardens, gardens and nurserymen’s exhibitions, in an atmosphere to be savoured.
The most creative moment will be with the terracotta painting workshop with the artist Naïs: an opportunity to create and take home something unique.
The iO Donna editorial team awaits you in Orticola
We will then witness the delivery of the iO Donna award to the best nurseryman and, between a toast and “green shopping” advice, there will be greetings from the editorial staff.
