In order to be able to start a Medicine or Dentistry program, you must be ranked favorably after taking the annual entrance exam. In the past, entrance exams for these courses took place at the Heysel at the beginning of July. But in recent years, the coronavirus has thrown a spanner in the works and a switch has been made to digital and decentralized exams.
Minister of Education Ben Weyts sticks to that formula. “This is one of the good things we have left from corona,” says the N-VA minister. “The candidates can now take their entrance exam in much better conditions.”
Figures show that 4,643 candidate doctors plan to take the entrance exam for tomorrow/Tuesday. There are 1,218 candidates for the dentist entrance exam. 788 candidates participate in both exams. They must indicate in advance which training they prefer.
