A delivery van burned out on the A59 near Oss last night. The driver decided to park the car on the emergency lane due to a technical problem and shortly afterwards flames erupted from the car. The driver, a roofer, took all his work equipment out of the cargo area: rolls of roofing felt and three gas bottles. The fire service managed to extinguish the car, but could not prevent the delivery van from suffering significant damage.
